Interaction design, user testing

Bangalore, India

At Nokia, I was a member of an international interdisciplinary team working on the design and development of Nokia Life Tools (now called Ovi Life Tools), an application that provides on-demand information services for emerging markets users.

Nokia Life Tools aims at providing its users with hyper-local content in areas of concern to them such as agriculture, education and entertainment. Ease of use, understandability and appropriateness were key concerns. I participated in extensive usability testing to evaluate the navigation, localization, iconography and other aspects. I contributed to the design of the application for the Symbian S30 platform.

The video shows some of the key use scenarios that Nokia Life Tools addresses.
